Physiotherapists are primary healthcare providers, so a doctor’s referral is not required to book an appointment. However, if your treatment is being covered through ICBC or WorkSafeBC or extended employer benefits, a referral may be required before payment can be approved. It is best to confirm the specific requirements with your claim provider.
-
Your first visit includes a full assessment of your symptoms, movement, strength, and treatment goals. We take the time to understand the cause of your pain or limitation, explain our findings, and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
-
Your initial appointment is typically longer than a follow up visit because it includes a detailed assessment and treatment planning. Final appointment lengths can be confirmed at the time of booking.
-
Please bring any relevant imaging reports, referral notes if available, your insurance information if applicable, and clothing that allows comfortable movement or access to the area being treated.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. If we are assessing a specific area such as your knee, shoulder, or back, clothing that allows easy access to that area is helpful.
-
You can book online through our booking system or contact the clinic directly via phone or email if you have questions before scheduling.
